I actually like the Angels and Rays to advance to the ALCS. Even though I hate the Angels they are the best team in baseball. The Rays are playing with house money, they have nothing to lose which makes them dangerous
im going angels/white sox..... as much as i ate the white sox, they have shown a lot of toughness down the stretch and i think the rays are just happy to be in the playoffs. The Angels are gonna overmatch Boston who is still searching for an identity after trading away manny. Remember....good pitching beats good hitting in the playoffs.

I'll go with Angels/Whitesox, Angels because good pitching is tough to beat in the playoffs like CO stated. Whitesox because i dont belive in the whole rest factor and they are 1 up on everybody being able to stay in a game mode rythmn. We saw what rest did to the Rockies in the WS last year.
I'm going with Angels/Whitesox as well. This could be Thome's and Griffey's last hurrah in October baseball, I have a feeling those two will be very big while the White Sox offenese clicks it up a notch this October.
As for the Angels, they have been dominant all year are a hell of a pitching and hitting team. I think the Red Sox will stretch em to 5 but the Angels will advance.
Yea call me ahome but i'm going Red Soxs and Rays. Red Soxs have the experience going deep into the playoffs like last season getting to the WS again and winning. The Rays are jsut a better all around team than the White Soxs. Pitching, batting avg. The Whit Soxs get them in HR's. Rays are hungry and could end up going all the way

I like the Angles and the Rays the Angles because they had the best record, like the Red Soxs they been to the WS too, and Angles have a AWESOME picthing Rotation and Have Frankie and i like Rays they are a better overall team then the CWS xcept in HRs
Im going with the Angels over the Red Sox and White Sox over the Rays. I think the Rays in the playoffs will choke and fall flat on there faces. I think that the Angels will win because they have been the best team in baseball all this year.

Very weird to see the lack of love being given to the American League this October...seems every story is about the Cubs curse and the Phillies beating the Brewers.
What about the Red Sox/Angels and Rays/White Sox...where's the love?
I think the lack of Yankees has really shifted the focus to the NL. If the Rays and Sox get through, I belive the Rays will get the AL a lot more publicity.

Hell i would love to see Rays Red Soxs in the ALCS! I Hope it happens. Hoping the Red Soxs can pull it out tonight with my boy John Lester pitching. Home game need to capitalize on these games at home and win them
