Jeff's Thoughts:
Looks to be a pretty good show tonight with eventual Main Eventer MVP challenging Triple H in the Main Event. It will be interesting to see how they book MVP aganist Triple H cause figure within a years time MVP will most likely be big player on the Smackdown brand.

I have not been a big fan lately of how guys like Ryan Braddock and Scott "Colt Cabana" Goldman have been booked on the Smackdown show. If they want to develop new wrestlers like they did two years ago with the new talent initative (i.e. MVP, Mr. Kennedy, Bobby Lashley) then they really need to grow the talent here. Scott Goldman has a ton of potential and Ryan Braddock has a good look. Time to stop putting them up aganist the monsters and aganist guys that they can build them up with.

Lately the MVP (no pun intended) of the Smackdown brand has been without a doubt THE Brian Kendrick. It's about time they gave Kendrick the microphone and let him explore a little bit with a character that fits him pretty well. He has been compared a lot lately to a younder Shawn Michaels and the late great Brian Pillman and I couldn't agree more. Watching The Brian Kendrick come to ringside with Ezekial Jackson reminds me of a young HBK strolling down to ringside with a young Kevin Nash as Diesel. Hopefully they don't miss the boat with him.

Lastly it will be interesting to see if and when Edge re-appears on the Friday Night brand. Ever since being thrown into "hell" by the Undertaker at Summerslam we have not seen much of the Rated-R Superstar. The without a doubt 2008 MVP of WWE and best heel in the business needs to make a return sometime soon. If I had to take a bet on it, I figured we will see Edge make a return sometime during the Survivor Series to let the whole Big Show/Taker feud play out until Show is ready to take on "The Game."

These are my thoughts going into Friday Night Smackdown this week...what is everyone elses?

Im looking forward to the return of Gregory Helms in the next couple weeks. With an emerging heel faction coming on Raw with all the second generation wrestlers, Smackdown needs a heel stable as well. Putting Helms,Kendrick, and hardy with a retruning Edge would be a great faction.
